Youth ASB - Stay safe this half term!

Recently we have had a spate of youths setting fires in the local area of Leyland and Bamber Bridge area.

A memorial bench was recently set on fire in Leyland and areas of Withy Trees Park. These deliberate acts puts both the young people and their associates at risk and also the communities they live in.

This bench is now destroyed and will have to be replaced. We are working with local communities, schools and parents to try and address this anti-social behaviour. 

We have also had a recent spike due to the hot weather of young people getting into dangerous and life threatening situations in open water.

"Don't let others talk you into it. Open water is unpredictable, cold and has hidden dangers – it's not worth the risk."

We ask that parents and carers speak with their children regarding the risks of fire and open water.
